New Engine planing..

So da man irgendwann auch nach Mehrleistung lächtzt, hab ich mir 44x37,5 Street Eli gegönnt, Kanäle und Brennräume sind von John Maher (bekannter UK VW/Drag Racing Specialist)..habe ca. 2000mile schon hinter sich...Leider haben sie ein paar kleine Risse, was aber laut Aussage von John Maher wohl zu vernachlässigen ist bei den Street elis... Wir werden sehen

Mein jetziger Motor wird dann wohl Ende der Saison nochmal eine Leistungsspritze bekommen...

New heads for my Engine...Street Elis ported by John Maher UK...44x37,5...little cracks between the valves, but so small not to mentioned...We will see what HP gain i will get....:-)

Mal wieder was von Mir...
Ich überhole gerade ein Satz Weber IDA (Made in Italien)...Hier soll ein Kompletprogramm gestartet werden...neu verzinken, Glasperlstrahlen der gehäuse, neue Lager, Messingteile polieren...

Erster Anfang is gemacht:

long time ago, i overhaul again some nice peace of arts, weber italian 48 IDAs...the carbs get a full cleaning program within yellow galvanizing some parts, sand blasting with glas pearls of the bodies etc...we will see

1/4 mile Luckau ...Best Reaction time ever!!!0.035s!!

My run with bad jetted Weber IDAs and not full open IDAs butterflys..the linkage have to be changed...But all the way with that problems a 16.2s is ok...But compare with my 15.5s last year at DDDay 07 to slow:-(

We were in Sweden for holidays me and my Girlfriend with her new restaured 65 Bug... And by the way we visit the Meca Raceway in Malmö (S)...Very nice place to feel like a child with a lot of toycars....:-) We have also seen the first run of the CSP-Karmann Typ34 Racecar...Oh man what a ride..it was awesome...
